This session was presented at the March 28 coaching clinic. The demonstration group was the U14 boys from the Metro Strikers Soccer Club. This session demonstrated a progression of passing patterns that introduced players to various passing combinations.  These combinations included wall passes, overlaps, and three player combinations. The session concluded by exposing coaches to small sided games that incorporated these passing combinations.

This session was presented at the December 7 coaching clinic. The demonstration group was the U14 girls from the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club. The session focused on what is called reading the game or game sense.  This aspect of the game may very well be the difference from becoming a top player or staying average.  The training of a players awareness/perception is rarely thought about among coaches.  This session gave coaches an opportunity to learn new training methods to assist their players in how they view the game and the decisions of their players.

This session was presented at the March 29 coaching clinic. The demonstration group was the U15 girls from the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club.  The field session began where the U8-U12 coaching clinic session left off. Functional training was used to enable players to learn the roles and responsibilities of various positions; forwards, wide midfielders, and center midfielders.

This field session was part of a National D license coaching course delivered by ASET, and in conjunction with the Missouri Youth Soccer Association. The field session consisted of a warm-up containing blind side runs, wall passes and double passes. The session progressed with a Phase of Play coaching methodology by building out of each third of the field; defending third, middle third, attacking third.

This session demonstrated the movements of the striker and wingers in attempting to get in behind an organized defense. The warm-up consisted of specific movements and coaching points for each player. Attention was given to ways that improve interchange and combination play.
